P.M.A. Salam, whose full name is Peechimannil Muhammad Abdul Salam, is a veteran political leader from Kerala with a career spanning several decades. Hailing from Malappuram district, he has been active in student, youth, community and mainstream political organisations, and has held key organisational responsibilities at both state and national-interest levels.He currently serves as the State General Secretary of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), Kerala State Committee, a position he has held since 2021 and was re-elected to in 2023.
