മുഹമ്മദ് ഇൿബാല്‍ അസ്സാം. സ്ഥിരോത്സാഹത്തിന്റെ സാഹസികവഴികളിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന വ്യത്യസ്തനായൊരാള്‍, മുഹമ്മദ് ഇൿബാല്‍! അസ്സാം സ്വദേശിയാണ്. ചെറുപ്പത്തിലേ ആരും നടക്കാത്ത വഴികളിലൂടെ, മുന്‍ മാതൃകകളില്ലാതെ സഞ്ചരിക്കാന്‍ ധൈര്യം കാണിച്ച വ്യക്തി. ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ പഠനത്തിന്റെ തീരങ്ങളിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കാനുള്ള അദമ്യമായ ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ 2000ലാണ് മുഹമ്മദ് ഇൿബാല്‍ കോഴിക്കോട് എത്തുന്നത്. പ്രമുഖ സംഘടനയ്ക്കു കീഴിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു മതപഠന സ്ഥാപനത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ പഠനം നിഷേധിച്ചതുള്‍പ്പെടെ ആഗ്രഹ സഫലീകരണത്തിനുള്ള അന്വേഷണത്തിനിടെ പല പ്രതിബന്ധങ്ങളുമുണ്ടായെങ്കിലും എല്ലാം വകഞ്ഞു മാറ്റി മുന്നേറാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു കഴിഞ്ഞു. പട്ടിണി കിടന്നും കടത്തിണ്ണയില്‍ കിടന്നുറങ്ങിയുമാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യകാലം കടന്നുപോയത്. വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ നീണ്ട കഠിന പ്രയത്‌നത്തിലൂടെ മലയാളം പഠിച്ചെടുത്ത അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കണ്ണും കൈയും ചിന്തയും ആരും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാത്ത ഇടങ്ങളിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു. ചിലര്‍ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിച്ചതു കാരണം ആദ്യകാലത്ത് തല തിരിച്ചുപിടിച്ചാണദ്ദേഹം മലയാളം വായിക്കാന്‍ പഠിച്ചത്. സ്വപ്രയത്‌നം കൊണ്ട് വിവിധ ഭാഷകള്‍ വശത്താക്കി. 22 ഭാഷകള്‍ സംസാരിക്കുന്ന മുഹമ്മദ് ഇൿബാല്‍ അത് മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക് ഉപകാരപ്രദമാകുന്ന രീതിയില്‍ സാങ്കേതികമായി വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുക്കാന്‍ കഠിനാധ്വാനം ചെയ്തു. ആംഗ്യഭാഷയില്‍ ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ ടൈപ്പിംഗ് സ്വായത്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കൂടാതെ സൈന്‍ ലാംഗ്വേജ് അറബിൿ, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷകള്‍ ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്യാനും വായിക്കാനും ബ്രെയില്‍ ലിപിയില്‍ 13 ഭാഷകളിലെ അക്ഷരങ്ങള്‍ റീഡ് ചെയ്യാനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു കഴിയും. ഖുര്‍ആനിന്റെ ചരിത്രഭൂമികളിലൂടെ ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി അസ്സമീസ്, ബംഗാളി ഭാഷകളിലേക്ക് വിവര്‍ത്തനം ചെയ്ത ഇദ്ദേഹം, ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി സംവിധായകന്‍ ഡോ. പി കെ അബ്ദുറസാഖ് സുല്ലമിയുടെ കൂടെ ഈ ചരിത്ര ഭൂമികളില്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശനം നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ലോകത്തെ വിവിധ ഭാഷകള്‍ക്കിടയിലെ ഒരു പാലം കൂടിയാണിദ്ദേഹം. വ്യത്യസ്ത വഴിയിലൂടെ യാത്ര ചെയ്ത അദ്ദേഹം ആര്‍ജിച്ചെടുത്ത അറിവുകളിലൂടെ മറ്റുള്ളവരെ കൈ പിടിച്ചു നടത്തുന്നതില്‍ ബദ്ധശ്രദ്ധനാണ്. ഉത്തരേന്ത്യന്‍ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും കേരളത്തിലും സേവനപ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളുടെ മേഖലയില്‍ സവിശേഷമായ ഇടപെടല്‍ നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ബട്ടന്‍ ഫോണ്‍ മാത്രം ഉപയോഗിച്ചു ശീലിച്ച കാലത്ത് ബട്ടന്‍ ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ സ്മാര്‍ട്ട് ഫോണ്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയാതിരുന്ന അന്ധര്‍ക്ക് അത് ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമെന്ന് അന്വേഷണത്തിലൂടെ കണ്ടെത്തിയതും ഇദ്ദേഹമാണ്. അതിനായി ജിദ്ദയിലെ എബ്‌സര്‍ ഫൗണ്ടേഷനില്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്ന ഫീസ് കൊടുത്താണ് ഈ സാങ്കേതികത അദ്ദേഹം പഠിച്ചെടുത്തത്. ശേഷം അത് കേരളത്തില്‍ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ഈ രംഗത്ത് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നവരിലൂടെ അത് പ്രചരിക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു. ഖുര്‍ആനിന്റെ തനതുശൈലിയായ റസ്മുല്‍ ഉസ്മാനി കംപ്യൂട്ടറിലും ലാപ്ടോപ്പിലും ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ പഠിച്ചെടുക്കുകയും അത് ജനങ്ങളെ പരിശീലിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഏതു രിവായത്തിലുള്ള ഖുര്‍ആനും ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്യുന്നതില്‍ വിദഗ്ധനാണ്. ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ ആംഗ്യഭാഷ അവതരണത്തിനു തുടക്കമിട്ട മുഹമ്മദ് ഇൿബാല്‍, കംപ്യൂട്ടര്‍ കീബോര്‍ഡുകളില്‍ സൈന്‍ ലാംഗ്വേജ് ഖുര്‍ആന്‍, സൈന്‍ ലാംഗ്വേജ് അറബിൿ, സൈന്‍ ലാംഗ്വേജ് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് എന്നിവ ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ സംവിധാനമുണ്ടാക്കി. സൈന്‍ ലാംഗ്വേജ് അറബിൿ, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് അക്ഷരമാലകള്‍ വിവിധ ഭാഷകള്‍ സംസാരിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കായി പുസ്തക രൂപത്തില്‍ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ആദ്യമായി പുറത്തിറക്കിയത് ഇദ്ദേഹമാണ്. ബധിരര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ഐപാഡ്, ഐഫോണ്‍, ആന്‍ഡ്രോയ്ഡ് ഡിവൈസുകളില്‍ കീബോര്‍ഡു വികസിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ഗവേഷണങ്ങളിലാണ്. സൈന്‍ ലാംഗ്വേജ് അറബിൿ, സൈന്‍ ലാംഗ്വേജ് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഫോണ്ടുകള്‍ വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. മദീന മുസ്ഹഫിന്റെ പ്രിന്റിംഗില്‍ സംഭവിച്ചിരുന്ന ചെറിയ പിശൿ കണ്ടെത്തി തിരുത്താന്‍ വഴിയൊരുക്കിയത് മുഹമ്മദ് ഇൿബാലിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ അപൂര്‍വ മുഹൂര്‍ത്തമാണ്. ഖുര്‍ആനിൿ സൈന്‍ ലാംഗ്വേജുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ച് ഗവേഷണം നടത്തുകയും സഊദിയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഔദ്യോഗിക പരിശീലനം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ആദ്യ വ്യക്തിയായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്തു. കംപ്യട്ടറില്‍ തജ് വീദ് നിയമമനുസരിച്ച് ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ സംവിധാനമില്ലായിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍, മദീന ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ പ്രിന്റിംഗ് കോംപ്ലക്സുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് കീബോര്‍ഡ് വികസിപ്പിക്കാനും അദ്ദേഹം നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി. ആപ്പിളിലും മൈക്രോസോഫ്റ്റിലും ലഭ്യമല്ലാതിരുന്ന പഴയ മലയാള അക്ഷരങ്ങളും അക്കങ്ങളും രണ്ടു കമ്പനികളുമായി നിരന്തരം ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയതൂം ഇദ്ദേഹമാണ്. ഓരോ ദിനവും പുതിയ പുതിയ കാഴ്ചകളിലേക്കും വിശേഷങ്ങളിലേക്കും ചുവടുകള്‍ വെക്കുമ്പോഴും ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ പഠന- ഗവേഷണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്കാണ് മുഹമ്മദ് ഇൿബാല്‍ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പരിഗണ നല്‍കുന്നത്. ഖുര്‍ആന്റെ തീരങ്ങളുടെ ആസ്വാദ്യത നുകര്‍ന്ന്, ബഹളങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നൊഴിഞ്ഞ് മുഹമ്മദ് ഇൿബാല്‍ അറിവിന്റെ വഴികളില്‍ നാഴികക്കല്ലുകള്‍ തീര്‍ത്ത് നിശ്ശബ്ദം യാത്ര തുടരുകയാണ്.

Mammed Koya is a distinguished civil engineer and Chief Consultant at Builtechgroups Engineers, Planners & Valuers, Kozhikode, with decades of experience in engineering consultancy, planning, and valuation. Known for his technical expertise and practical approach, he has contributed to numerous projects while also holding key leadership roles in professional and social organizations. Currently, he serves as the State General Secretary of the Muslim Service Society (MSS), Kerala, playing an active role in community development and organizational leadership.
